Professional regeneration

2) Professional regeneration for Executives

A 2-4 days live training for managers in all fields of activity

Learn how to relax with intention, so that your performance peaks and your body thanks you, even if you think you have no time to slow down.

As a manager, you know that pressure is part of the job. If not all the time, at least every now and then, for short or sometimes longer periods of time. If you are anything like me, you love your job and have a work ethic, you do your best to raise to the situation: get the job done, in the time required, with the resources you have.

Yet something feels different inside, tiredness starts accumulating and sometimes irritation, addiction or even body symptoms.

We know that, since we work more, we need to relax more. And yet it is exactly in these times of pressure that we have less time for relaxation and, furthermore, even when we finally afford to unwind, the mind’s chatter doesn’t let us.

In the end, we resign to the idea that, in order to perform, we need to put our body second. At least for a while. Then we cross our fingers that it doesn’t last that long that our performance falters or our health suffers.

In this course, I would like to offer you an alternative I came to see in years of working with people in high-performing positions:

Whether we work at a normal level or at a high level of pressure, if we relax correctly, our performance is at its peak and our health will not suffer.

I would like to point that the keywords here are : “if we relax correctly”.

There are many ways we tend to relax (usually only at the end of the day) which are simply not what we need. For example, we tend to mistake exhaustion after excessive sport with relaxation. Though it may provide a little relaxation, but that is superficial, and it misses a key quality: it is not regenerative.

Yes, true relaxation has to be REGENERATIVE. It restores the capacities of our mind and of our body. It feels like a good sleep that we wake up from and feel fresh, calm, yet alert.

In my experience, this kind of relaxation can be reached only with methods that take us into the subconscious, the only place where the chatter of our mind is finally silenced, and the body can let go of tensions.

This is what I intend to share with you over the course of 2 days, taking you on a playful journey of methods from self-hypnosis, mindfulness and meditation that will give you a taste of what relaxation truly is and what it can do for your performance and health.

What you get

In these 2-4 days, you will get:

  • An understanding of the performance-relaxation-regeneration cycle we all experience. Think of it as the compass that will tell you when and how you need to relax for optimal performance and health.

  • A clear picture of our misconceptions about relaxation, what relaxation really is and how you can reach it.

  • The experience of a set of powerful relaxation/regeneration techniques that appeals to different personalities and lifestyles. Their duration ranges from a few minutes to 1 hour, hence it will be easy for you to pick and mix them in order to create your own, personal, relaxation toolbox.

Who is it for

This course is for managers from all fields of work.

This course will give you, personally, support but also an understanding of how to support your team of people to perform at their best, while protecting their wellbeing.

To HR managers: it is ideal to offer this course to your teams in preparation for a highly intensive period (like the annual business planning cycle) or as an alternative to traditional team building.
