A coaching journey for when you experience your work as bringing high-pressure and:

  • you notice your work has already taken a toll on your physical and/or mental health and would like to address that.

What will this program do for you?

This coaching program will support you to find a natural and healthy way to navigate pressure, which will feel less like coping with stress and more like thriving and enjoying your expertise and resources.

At its core, it gives you access to your inner resources so that you can make the shift from constantly running on an empty tank to starting to operate from a fullness (of energy, calm, focus, joy). This way, the reasons for developing typical stress symptoms (like sleeplessness or even illness) or detrimental behaviors (like pushing extra hours or procrastination) will simply fade away.

How it works

Most of us can manage an occasional increase in intensity when it comes to our work. But when peaks of stress become a plateau of pressure, we need to up our game.

In my 15 years of working with people, I came to see that resourcing ourselves effectively comes down to two key points, which in this program I address in parallel:

1) Proper relaxation

Constantly performing under pressure requires us to be able to properly rest and relax. But often we simply forgot how to do so. We may turn to alcohol, TV or social media or excessive sport, confusing them with relaxation, when actually they are rather intoxication, distraction or exhaustion.

A different approach is needed.

In this coaching program, you will get specific, simple yet effective rest and relaxation tools that work for your particular situation and lifestyle.

But most importantly, with the support of my medical background, you will get an understanding of the connection between stress-relaxation-regeneration in your particular case and how performance and regeneration alternate throughout 24 hours. You will develop a fine radar that will let you know at which point stress impacts you and when relaxation is needed.

2) Addressing the symptoms

I call symptoms anything we develop in order to cope with stress or as a result of it.

We include here certain behaviors like:

  • irritation/creating conflict

  • procrastination

  • doing extra hours as a constant practice

  • perfectionism or, the opposite, becoming superficial

or actual mental and physical symptoms like:

  • sleeping disorders

  • exhaustion

  • anxieties

  • IBS

  • heart diseases

  • overweight

  • reflux

These symptoms rob us of our resources and become, in themselves, an additional cause of pressure.

In this program, we make a discovery of your specific symptoms and then work our way through them, to the very cause – the reason why they exist.

My experience with the power of the subconscious showed me that many times, simply bringing this cause to the light makes it dissolve and clear the way of access to your natural resources: calm, focus, confidence, ability to prioritise and say “no”, strength, ability to adapt.

However, to consolidate and help this process, I might also introduce you to methods which give you direct access to these same resources even while we are still clearing through the symptoms.

In these sessions, I will bring a very specific mixture of skills and experiences: my medical background and understanding of the physiology of stress and relaxation and of neuroscience, my long-time passion for the subconscious (under the form of mindfulness, meditation and self-hypnosis), and a specific use of coaching techniques like NLP and others.

Important:

  • Depending on the situation, the number of sessions can be tailored up or down.
