The golden key to dealing
with continuous pressure lies in
the power of your subconscious

Being a medical doctor for 15 years in the field of Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, I know how peaks of stress can become a plateau of pressure. And it is scientifically proven that this can have a huge impact on our mental and physical health in the end.

I have seen that in dealing with this pressure, we tend to focus on the symptoms we develop in time – addictions, sleeplessness, exhaustion or physical illness – and we turn to doctors or psychologists. Or, we might catch it earlier, and then we focus on adjusting our behaviour. We might turn to coaches or read books on how to organise our time better, how to say “no” or how to stop procrastinating.

While both our symptoms and our behaviours matter, something important is missing: the real cause behind all this. The reason why we respond to pressure in harmful ways (developing detrimental behaviours, mental or physical symptoms) is most of the time concealed to our eyes.

For that we need an understanding of what is hidden in our subconscious. Tools like meditation, mindfulness and self-hypnosis help with that, reveal the real cause and give us the chance to work on it. This type of work then impacts positively our behaviour and our symptoms, ultimately helping us not only navigate the stress, but actually recover the joy of being in our profession.

That is why a real solution to high-pressure professions is three-dimensional, it needs to bring together:

  • the Western medicine and psychology

  • specific coaching tools

  • and methods that tap into the power of our subconscious.

This is what I bring in my work and what I offer to you, if stress and pressure are part of your profession.

I strongly believe that all resources and capabilities to find the right solution(s) for the challenges in life are stored inside each of us. Due to the circumstances in life it often happens that we forget these solutions or don’t see them. This is why successful coaching starts where the solutions are stored … in your subconscious.

Starting from there we will shift to your consciousness in order to bring all possible solutions to the daylight. This step is the key to implement them successfully in your daily life.

Working with people

Fighting hard

Being young I was engaged in Karate competitions. And I learned that - a certain level of technical skills given - any competition is won (or lost) only by our inner pictures of the world, which we have stored in our subconscious mind.

Emergency medicine and intensive care

Until 2008 I worked in a hospital as a consultant for anesthesia and intensive care. And for a couple of years during that time I was on the road in an ambulance as emergency doctor.

Trainings

I was a certified trainer for emergency medicine and resuscitation (ERC - European Resuscitation Council) for many years. Communication and leadership are important parts of the courses’ syllabus.

Holistic medicine

Until 2016 I ran the “Institute for Medical Hypnosis and Meditation” in Vienna. There we supported people towards true, holistic health. At the same time, I started to work with companies.

Coachings

After that I founded HypnoMed and there I offer my expertise for people working in high-pressure environments.

My thoughts about coaching

I see myself as the companion which I would have needed back then. Someone who shows you that there are ALWAYS solutions inside yourself. It took me a long time to come to this understanding, but with the right support it can take much less. Though it is you who has to experience it by yourself, I can show you the path and be the companion on it. The coach should be like a mountain guide - someone who enjoys to provide support, give a direction and be a safe company on difficult terrain.

Karate competitionin my late 20s/early 30s: my first encounter with the power of the subconscious

Karate competitions in my late 20s/early 30s were my first conscious encounter with the power of the subconscious.

Meeting people in extreme situations and meeting death - all this has taught me a lot about life, especially humbleness.

Meeting people in extreme situations and meeting death - all this has taught me a lot about life, especially humbleness.

I am passionate about transferring my knowledge and my understanding of the power of the subconscious to others.

Summary of a hypnosis, performed during a course about health in companies (Tele 2). The original duration of the hypnosis session is approx. 20 minutes. Though it is in German, one can feel the vibe.

With special thanks to the participant for his spontaneous readiness for hypnosis and his approval for publication.

Although meditation is a scientific phenomenon, it is always a personal experience and belongs to the subjective world.
